Vardeneset Ballklubb

Vardeneset Ballklubb (stiftet 22. november 1990) er en fotballklubb fra bydelen Tasta i Stavanger. Klubben har 55 lag og ca how to tender beef. 970 medlemmer, og er en av de største i Rogaland Fotballkrets. I 2014 spiller klubben i 3. divisjon.

Klubben er opprinnelig stiftet 21 wholesale football uniforms. november 1975 som den første gruppen i Vardeneset Idrettsforening. Fotballgruppen skilte seg ut som egen klubb under nåværende navn den 22. november 1990, som i dag er den offisielle stiftelsesdatoen.

I 1995 begynte tok klubben i bruk klubbhuset og i 2008 ble to nye krøllgressbaner I Tasta Idrettspark ferdigstilt av Stavanger kommune.

Fra starten i 1975 spilte alle lag med blå drakt. Egentlig skulle de vært røde, men da drakt-leverandøren ikke kunne levere røde drakter, ble det blått. Midt på 80-tallet skiftet klubben gradvis over til røde drakter. I 1997 kom de nåværende rød/hvite stripete draktene.

I flere år brukte VBK en logo og emblem som var nesten identisk med VIF, bare navn og forkortelse var forskjellig. I 1997 hadde klubben en konkurranse som endte opp med ny logo.

Eudocima salaminia

The Green fruit-piercing moth, (Eudocima salaminia), is a moth of the family Erebidae. It is found from India across south-east Asia to the Pacific Islands. In Australia it occurs in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales razor lint remover. Adult is a fruit-piercer.

The wingspan is about 80-104 mm. Palpi with second joint very short and non-spatulate. Fore wings with straight outer margin. Cilia non-crenulate. Head and collar plum fruit colored. Thorax greenish with tufts on metathorax. Abdomen orange. Fore wings are golden greenish. A broad cream-colored costal fascia runs from near base of inner margin to apex how to tender beef, striated with pale red and turning to green at costa. There is a creamy marginal band as well. A curved red streak found below vein 2 tennis bracelet. Hind wings orange with large black lunule beyond lower angle of cell. A black marginal band with cilia whitish spots runs from costa to vein 2. Ventral side of fore wings fuscous, with orange at base. Broad whitish postmedial band not reaching costa or inner margin. Cilia whitish.

Larva dark purplish grey with a few whitish specks. Somites 4th to 6th with small yellowish sub-dorsal spots, beneath which on 5th and 6th somites is a red-ringed black ocellus with whitish pupil. 11th somite is with a conical reddish dorsal tubercle Cocktail Dresses Pink. Late instar is olive brown with dark specks. A pale lateral fascia found on medial somites and purplish fascia from tubercle to last abdominal segment.

The larvae feed on Stephania japonica and Sarcopetalum harveyanum. Adults are a pest on fruit plantations. They penetrate fruit in order to suck the juices. After the fruit has been pierced, it is vulnerable for fungi and other micro-organisms. Piercing occurs on Oranges, Lemons and other Citrus as well as Lychees and Longans.

Søren Birkelund

Søren Birkelund (født 14. marts 1942 i København) er en dansk klarinettist og fhv how to tender beef. kgl. kapelmusikus.

Han er søn af kolonialhandler Gunnar Nielsen og ekspeditrice Gudrun født Jørgensen stainless steel meat mallet. 1953-59 var han i Tivoligardens Musikkorps, blev 1961 student fra Østersøgades Gymnasium og 1966 uddannet klarinettist fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium, hvor han også har undervist.

Birkelund blev soloklarinettist i Danmarks Radios Underholdningsorkester 1966, blev i 1983 soloklarinettist i Det Kongelige Kapel og har været formand for Kapellet 1998-2004. Han er desuden medlem af Den Danske Blæserkvintet wholesale winter socks. Han er Ridder af Dannebrog (tildelt 17 shop football tees. juni 1998) og bærer Mindemedaljen i anledning af hundredårsdagen for Kong Frederik den IX.s fødsel.

Siden 28. december 1963 har han været gift med Bessi Chodak (født 26. februar 1941 i København), datter af kornkontrollør Israel Chodak og ekspeditrice Jochebed født Sobol. Hans datter Tanja Birkelund Savery er gift med Uffe Savery.

sync (Unix)

sync is a standard system call in the Unix operating system, which commits to disk all data in the kernel filesystem buffers, i.e., data which has been scheduled for writing via low-level I/O system calls. Note that higher-level I/O layers such as stdio may maintain separate buffers of their own gym fanny pack.

As a function in C, the sync() call is typically declared as void sync(void) in <unistd.h>. The system call is also available via a command line utility also called sync, and similarly named functions in other languages such as Perl and NodeJS (in the fs module).

The related system call fsync() commits just the buffered data relating to a specified file descriptor. fdatasync() is also available to write out just the changes made to the data in the file, and not necessarily the file’s related metadata.

Unix systems typically run some kind of flush or update daemon, which calls the sync function on a regular basis. On some systems, the cron daemon does this, and on Linux it’s handled by the pdflush daemon. Buffers are also flushed when filesystems are unmounted or remounted read-only[citation needed], for example prior to system shutdown.

In order to provide proper durability, databases need to use some form of sync in order to make sure the information written has made it to non-volatile storage rather than just being stored in a memory-based write cache that would be lost if power failed. PostgreSQL for example may use a variety of different sync calls how to tender beef, including fsync() and fdatasync(), in order for commits to be durable. Unfortunately, for any single client writing a series of records, a rotating hard drive can only commit once per rotation, which makes for at best a few hundred such commits per second. Turning off the fsync requirement can therefore greatly improve commit performance, but at the expense of potentially introducing database corruption after a crash.

Databases also employ log files (typically much smaller than the main data files) that have information about recent changes, such that changes can be reliably redone in case of crash; then the main data files can be synced less often.

Hard disks may default to using their own volatile write cache to buffer writes, which greatly improves performance while introducing a potential for lost writes. (Tools such as hdparm -F will instruct the HDD controller to flush the on-drive write cache buffer.) The performance impact of turning caching off is so large that even the normally conservative FreeBSD community rejected disabling write caching by default in FreeBSD 4.3.

In SCSI and in SATA with Native Command Queuing (but not in plain ATA, even with TCQ) the host can specify whether it wants to be notified of completion when the data hits the disk’s platters or when it hits the disk’s buffer (on-board cache). Assuming a correct hardware implementation, this feature allows the disk’s on-board cache to be used while guaranteeing correct semantics for system calls like fsync. This hardware feature is called Force Unit Access (FUA) and it allows consistency with less overhead than flushing the entire cache as done for ATA (or SATA non-NCQ) disks. Although Linux enabled NCQ around 2007, it did not enable SATA/NCQ FUA until 2012, citing lack of support in the early drives.

fsync has been found to slow down performance of Firefox 3.0; the call was introduced in order to guarantee the integrity of the embedded sqlite database. Linux Foundation chief technical officer Theodore Ts’o claims there is no need to “fear fsync”, and that the real cause of Firefox 3 slowdown is the excessive use of fsync. He also concedes however (quoting Mike Shaver) that “On some rather common Linux configurations slim waist pack, especially using the ext3 filesystem in the “data=ordered” mode, calling fsync doesn’t just flush out the data for the file it’s called on, but rather on all the buffered data for that filesystem.”
